London Region Exercises: Case Studies
The London Resilience Team has worked with its partners in the London
Regional Resilience Forum since its inception and has helped to deliver a
broad range of exercises.
These exercises initially tested and refined plans and procedures around
gaps identified in the original review of London's preparedness that
was conducted in the months after the 9/11 attacks. The majority of these
exercises have exercised the strategic (Gold) level of command with some
exceptions (i.e. OSIRIS II, a Tactical and Operational live exercise) as
agencies routinely work together at a Local level to deliver tactical and
operational training and exercising.
These pages contain a brief description of some of the larger exercises
that have taken place in London over the last few years.
