How to Develop a Business Continuity Plan
This module is in four parts:
- Part one gives an understanding of the level of planning. It clarifies those parts of the plan that need varying levels of detail according to the type of business continuity plan being developed;
- Part two gives guidance on completing a business impact analysis; and
- Part three, the business continuity template has been developed to provide a template for managers and planners to use, if required, when developing a business continuity plan. Managers may consider transferring details into this recommended format when reviewing their existing plans. The business continuity template may be adapted to meet your own agency / client group requirements but should maintain all the core elements shown in each section.
- Part four provides a notes section provides additional guidance on completing each section of the plan template.
